Akins’ issues appear to me to echo the issues Hauser had when Izzo was encouraging Hauser to do much more than he was capable of doing. He struggled until he (and Izzo) figured out his strengths and limitations. When that happened in his senior year, Hauser became special. I hope the same happens for Akins.
