Walker ranked 10 best and Hoggard at 42 are only Spartans to make top 100 players. Fletcher Loyer makes it, but Akins does not?

That tells me all I need to know about the breadth of knowledge of that publication. Akins very well might be our best player next year. In fact, we have four guys who legitimately could be our "best player" next year. There's the trio of backcourt starters but, in a small sample, Hall was arguably our best player early last year against Gonzaga and Kentucky before getting hurt. I'm really looking forward to what he'll do healthy again. I see those four being on the court at the end of tight games along with whoever else is playing best (or, depending on match ups, whatever big man is playing best).

Jon Rothstein says people who have seen Sissoko lately are impressed.

Maddy was already big and strong. So, if he's more so now, I'd guess the goal was to be big and strong enough to no longer be pushed around by Edey.
