Rod, thanks for bringing Mr. Acuff to our attention on your last podcast. As you mentioned, it is odd that MSU has not offered especially now that he is attracting so much attention the past 10 days (Kentucky and Pitt offer). I've read that he is a big fan of the school down the road but that has never stopped Izzo. Perhaps your contacts can give you (us) more insight. With the talent in Michigan down from the 90s/early 2000, we need to protect our backyard.
So in 2025 Izzo will possibly/likely have Holloman and Fears maybe still targeting Fears’ younger brother. It does seem that Izzo will be looking to add another PG in 2024 or 2025. I suppose if they get Richardson he could play some at the point.
Good point. Unless he sees the value in being a lifelong Spartan (understandable), I have to believe that Holloman is a prime candidate to transfer if Fears lives up to his billing...

Hard to tell with the new transfer reality, but I'm hoping Holloman sticks it out. Looking back at Brograkas, he was in the class that included Torbert, Hill & Anderson and still got his minutes, even with younger guys around like Ager and Brown. If a guy does the kinds of things that Holloman is capable of, Izzo seems to find 'em minutes one way or another. Like I said though, that's perhaps more my hope than analysis, and will those minutes be enough for Holloman?

I lived in Brazil for five years and enjoyed being an expat. That was way back before streaming and my sister used to record MSU games and then ship the VHS tapes to me.
