Now going back to Joliet West to play with his brother…no Overtime Elite after all

How are we to look at this? Maybe playing with his brother will be a positive for MSU?
@spartanpro I don’t think it matters from an MSU perspective all that much. Would play better talent in OT but the opportunity to play with your brother and maybe win a state title is pretty compelling as well, I think.
@rodmsu1968 The kid has played against top competition at LaLu, EYBL and on the USA team. I like that he's staying home to play with his brother and hometown for his senior year. Win a state title, go to prom, be a kid. And recruit your brother too while you're at it
ATL Spartans will miss seeing the General play live but happy for he and is little bro.
@msupaul3 I think it is really cool that he will finish his hs career playing with his brother. Something he may never get the chance to do again.
Bucking the trend, for sure.
Fears is a different kind of kid.
I go beyond respect and say I admire his decision to choose to play with his brother. In the little I've seen on all four incoming recruits, I'd say we have four very high-character recruits on their way. Kudos too for Izzo for finding what he calls OKGs (Our Kind of Guys). It's yet another example of Tom adapting and solving for what works best for Sparty.
