Lots of people want to make the Mcquaid comparison, I think he does have a lot of his game. But mcquaid wasn’t two hand dunking over people, or slapping balls off the glass. I think he’s more athletic.
He is potentially the perfect wing player for Izzo. He is long, athletic, and can shoot. Great, great pickup.
Nice interview with Ebling. Gehrig talks about how he got his unusual first name. Also, his favorite player is Larry Bird.
@loomin_knotty I think Matt was underrated as an athlete by many. The Duke Elite Eight game showed this off to full effect IMO. That said, I think Gehrig may get more out of it, as he seems to have a bit more of an attacking mindset.
