Last time Sparty had a top 5 recruiting class, that core took us to one Final Four and might have had a second in 2020. 23-24 might be a year early, but the future is extremely bright to get Izzo that second championship!

How does Xavier’s game compare to JJJ coming into college? They have similar strengths and weaknesses for sure and Jaren was one of my favorite Spartans of recent years even though we only had him for one.

@spartandawg IRC Jaren was able to put a lot of weight on between the end of his HS season and when the MSU season started.  Hopefully Booker is able to do the same.

Interesting.  Booker is now #3, Fears #34, Carr #71, Normand #98.

A quick look at the rest of the Big Ten:
- Ohio State has 3 in the list, including one in the top 20 and the other two in the 50 to 60 range.
- Indiana has 2 in the list but both are in the 80 to 90 range
- The rest of the Big Ten has five teams only in the list and then with a single player each only.  Rutgers (with the #36 guy) is the only team with a top 50 player besides MSU and Ohio State.
- No Michigan, no Purdue, no Wisconsin commits in the top 100.

Kindness is free.

@houseizzorockin Sense seems to be that this pretty much locks up a top 5 consensus spot for Booker when it's all said and done, and MSU with a great chance to end up with a top 3 class (and seemingly a lock to be top 5).
