He will be coached by Thad Matta. I hope he does well there. I wouldn’t mind seeing Matta have some success, either.

It didn't work out here, but I hope it works out there for him.  I also hope there are no more transfers.  It doesn't seem there will be, but one never knows.

I hadn't realized Motta was back coaching.  Yeah, I hope he does well too.

It’s nice to see Pierre land somewhere legit and a coach who should hold him accountable. Best that it’s a rebuilding program too so he should have an opportunity to carve out a role for himself. Minutes at MSU just weren’t going to be there for him this year.

In other conference transfer news, Ryan Langbord, a 6’3” guard from Princeton is headed to Northwestern. He averaged 12.7 points a game at Princeton.

@hazelmotes good get for Northwestern. Gives them some insurance in the backcourt in case one (or God forbid both) of Buie and Audige don’t return and if they do, improved depth.
