I know you two deserve a break, so I won’t be surprised if you don’t have time for the Q&A podcast you mentioned might happen during this slower portion of the season on a previous episode. If you do have one, though, here are some questions I would be interested to hear your takes on:
1. Who has the highest ceiling for this season on the team? Hoggard, Walker, Akins, or Hauser?
2. Which MSU player(s) has(have) the best chance of making an all-conference team based on what you’ve seen so far?
3. Do you believe the Big 10 will expose Purdue because it relies on 2 freshmen guards who are not especially athletic? Also, do you two feel good about your predictions for conference champs still?
4. What are the chances that either Walker or Hoggard return for another year? Would either of them benefit from it? MSU certainly would.
5. Is there any news on how the 2023 recruits are improving? I hear that Fears is shooting better, but that is about it.
Great questions! We will definitely do the show but it was a question of timing because we are trying to schedule coach Kelley. It looks like that will be next week but nothing confirmed yet. So the AMA would be the other break week.

PSU: Pickett-Lundy-Funk
Purdue: Edey-Loyer?-Smith?
Indiana: Jackson-Davis - Johnson - Hood-Schifino
Illinois: Shannon-Hawkins-Clar
Michigan: Dickinson-Howard-Bufkin
What are the 2-3 biggest keys for MSU to not only make the tournament but get out of the first weekend?
I love how hard Izzo and his staff are recruiting the 24’ & 25’ kids. It seems they have taken a more national approach, which is a refreshing change. It also seems they’re watching/offering more guys than usual. I was wondering if you had any insight on what the priorities are for the staff? Who are the “Plan A” guys in each class? It’s been hard to tell with how many guys they’re looking at!
It seems like Kur Teng is a priority for 24’. I like the idea of pairing him with a facilitator like Fears (and Holloman).
