I want to send out a huge thank you to those of you who contribute on this forum and listen and continue to spread the word about the show. We are now consistently ranking in the top 50 of all basketball podcasts in America (at least one day per week) which includes national celebrities (like Draymond!) and professional team sites with professional journalists.
Without a doubt, it is thanks to all of you spreading the word about the show and leaving reviews and ratings on the podcast catcher of choice and most importantly - listening to the show!
It has been a really fun journey joining the show so late but I've had a blast and the work is definitely worth it with the support we've gotten from this Spartan community. We will continue to work on improving the technical aspects of the show (Rod's audio - *ahem* - LOL) and make the experience a more robust one (like with this forum) which will help us all enjoy our favorite team.
I only wish I could thank everyone personally for letting me on this ride and look forward to spending more days in your ears while you're in the car, gym, or out on a walk.

This is a great podcast! As a long time deep follower of MSU basketball and a high school coach, it's been impossible to find someone that knows MSU basketball and knows basketball as well as Rod does. Congrats, you guys deserve it!
The easiest way to appreciate Rod and Eric is to try listen to just about any other podcast about college basketball, especially MSU basketball. I can appreciate Comp and Paul from SpartanMag, but the analysis of just about anywhere else is generally some combination of simplistic and biased. I recently listened to a podcast that argued at this point in the season, MSU has been the 7th best team in the conference. The “analysts” put us behind Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, and Ohio State. After listening to it podcasts like that, I get impatient for another episode from Rod and Eric.
@hazelmotes I listened to that as well. An argument could actually be made at this point in the season that we are behind all of those 6 based on limited amount of games played and some unknowns due to lack of competition for some of the others, but their 'analysis' to put us there was severely lacking. I personally have us at 4 or 5 right now, behind Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, and maybe Iowa. That is based on performance to date AND our current roster situation - a 'right now' assessment. Once we get our two starters back that could bump us up further. Purdue is far and away #1 for me right now. They have looked awesome with some big wins. Illinois has gelled better than I expected and has a lot of talent, with a nice win over UCLA, a loss to a pretty good Virginia team, and not much else to look at. Indiana has played a D2 level schedule, but passes the eye test and at least has the win over UNC under their belt now. We will see if Iowa is for real against Duke next week but I do like some of their pieces. Maryland is undefeated, but I'm not buying it yet. Ohio State's only good win is Texas Tech, but they're at least in the mix with those other top 7 for now. Rutgers and Penn State are next in line and not too far behind. After that it takes a big drop off in my view to the last 4 (and I'm loving that Michigan is in that group as of now!). Eric and Rod, congrats on the TOP 50! It is well deserved. I rarely miss an episode and love what you guys provide to us diehard Spartans to keep us entertained and in the know (even with Rod's sometimes questionable audio - LOL)!
