I mentioned it in the show but I'd like to formally thank all of you who have reached out and sent an encouraging word thru email or on the Spartan Mag board. It means a lot to me and any excuse to talk about Andy is one I will take.

If you, a family member, friend, or colleague is struggling with grief in losing a child I would encourage you to check out Marcy's podcast, Losing a Child: Always Andy's Mom or her website, Andysmom.com. (For those interested you can learn more about Andy in episode one that I do with Marcy.)

Merry Christmas and peace to all.

Eric

Eric,

I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. I have one four year old daughter who is my world. From a very young age I knew I was meant to be a #GirlDad and it’s my most important job.

I will be honest…listening to your wife’s podcast would be too difficult for me because the unimaginable thoughts of losing my daughter puts me in a dark place. I started tearing up just visiting her website. The strength both you and your wife show is admirable. To turn that tragedy into an avenue for helping others is a level many can’t achieve.

Wishing you and your family as happy and peaceful of a holiday season as possible.
