Good stuff. Some of the highlights, IMO…

- seems very confident in that backcourt group. Walker with the best summer of anybody (along with Joey), and then a lot of praise for Jaden and Pierre, both of whom need to take big steps forward. 

- echoes what some of us have been saying about Kohler offensively with the Zach Randolph comparison, and I agree. Best offensive big man as a freshman to come into the program since Zach.  He will be able to score on anybody. Anybody. The question is, can he defend well enough to stay on the court?  Some good words for Mary’s development but I understand people being in wait and see mode there. 

- this together with the contract extension should put to rest any thoughts about Izzo hanging it up in the near term.  No idea when it comes, but assuming good health, I don’t see it in the near future (next 3 years or so).
