Yeah, really tough break for him. Glad he got a year in where he played a major role at Valparaiso, though. There had been a possibility before he transfered that he might just retire from playing.

@rodmsu1968 I just hope it’s not a lifelong thing. Back injuries, even when you’re young, can linger forever.

That does suck.  I liked Kithier as a player and he was a rare transfer that I rooted for (as opposed to a general indifference).

In semi-related news, Davison is showing Foster Loyer on their 2022-23 roster, so he's evidently coming back for his 'covid' year.  I wish him well too.

Really liked him.  It still pisses me off he got the hate he got from idiots without knowing his issues.

Terrible break for Thomas. Despite his athletic limitations, I always liked his style of play. Kithier was always in the right place at the right time in the paint. There were several occasions last year that we could’ve used him at the 5. He played top-level D-1 basketball and has the stats and some highlight clips to show for it. Good for him. Wish him the best.
