I just listened to a podcast that claimed that Mississippi State was #1 in its conference in scoring inside the arc, and that MSU was last in the Big 10 in defending inside the arc. If true, that is a huge advantage to Mississippi State.
Since they defend the 3 so well, MSU will likely have to get lots of their points in transition. I hope that happens, but I don’t see this as a good matchup for MSU.
