First, thank you Rod (and Eric) for setting up this site/forum.  We all look forward to high level Bball discussions.

Second, I've not heard you mention much (if anything) regarding Fears and OT.  What are your thoughts on this move?  I understand he will waive the $100k salary to maintain his college eligibility but are there any concerns Fears gets tempted when hanging out with others who have pocketed the cash?  What about the competition and development this next year?  Their website shows three teams but no schedule as of yet.  I am actually based in Atlanta so hoping to see him in action.  Jeremy is taking a bit of a chance since OT is so new and certainly a fluid situation as a "startup".

Thanks!

Yeah, always a chance with something new.  I was not a fan of Overtime’s thing last year but this is distinct. While he won’t get a salary, I believe he can collect NIL income…theoretically, so could a HS player but I suspect OT has something organized on that front.

so I’m not worried about eligibility issues. I don’t have a firm grasp on how good the completion will be but, given that he’s going to likely be playing older opponents, it is probably at least a shade better than what he’d be seeing with another year at LaLu
